What’s Not Included in the Tour

While our comprehensive tour package covers most aspects of your Amazon adventure, the following items are not included:

1. Activities Not Listed in the Itinerary
  • Optional Excursions: Any activities or excursions not specified in the tour itinerary may be available at an additional cost.
  • Personal Activities: Expenses for personal activities during free time are not covered.
2. Entrance Taxes and Local Fees
  • Leticia Entrance Tax:
    • A mandatory fee of $45,000 Colombian pesos (approximately USD $13), payable upon arrival at Leticia Airport.
  • Puerto Nariño Entrance Tax:
    • A local fee of $25,000 Colombian pesos (approximately USD $5), collected upon arrival in Puerto Nariño.

Please have local currency available to pay these taxes directly to the authorities.

3. Beverages
  • Sugary Drinks and Sodas:
    • Soft drinks and bottled beverages are not included but can be purchased separately.
  • Alcoholic Beverages:
    • Alcoholic drinks are available for purchase at your accommodation or during meals but are not part of the tour package.
4. Transfers to Certain Hotels

What to Bring to your Amazon Jungle Tour

A small day sack (25-30L) is sufficient for a 3 or 4-day tour. We can store your larger bag in the office. The following list is advisory only, wear whatever you think will make you feel comfortable! Bear in mind that black clothing can attract more mosquitoes so, if possible, bring lighter colored clothing.
