Confirmed Jungle Tours in Leticia Amazonas Departures
Our tours starts every day at 7 am. Therefore, it’s crucial to arrive a day prior to the tour. The tour lasts for 3 days, concluding at 5 pm on the fourth day. Remember, Avianca and LATAM are two airlines operating flights from various parts of Colombia to Leticia, with a stopover in Bogota. We can also start the same day you arrive at 1:30 pm.

Amazon River High Water Season – Three Day Trip from February until Late June (Click to Expand)
1st Day – Tree Climbing and Night Safari
- Pickup: Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Leticia and taken to the office, where our staff will be waiting to organize all the equipment, insurance and the things we need for the tour.
- Morning: We will begin with a ground transportation to a nature reserve to do Tree Climbing 35 meters high, dosel and canopy activities. You will have lunch (We can do Vegan, Gluten Free, Vegetarian or Pescatarian Diet) and then taking the boat at 2 pm to Puerto Nariño.
- Afternoon and Night: Take a guided walk to know the town of Puerto Nariño and doing a thrilling nocturnal walk to observe tarantulas, insects, and nocturnal wildlife.
2nd Day – Adventure in Peru
- Morning: After a fulfilling breakfast, Sail along the Amazon River to reach the Peruvian community of San Antonio. Enjoy a jungle hike, wildlife spotting, and a traditional lunch with the indigenous community.
- Afternoon: You will do a jungle trek to spot Sloths and on a boat visit a spot for playful monkeys.
3rd Day – Kayak, Pink Dolphins and Lake Tarapoto:
- Morning: After breakfast, embark on a kayaking adventure in the flooded jungle to explore the varzea area. Discover lakes, observe wildlife, and enjoy a typical lunch. On this route you have the possibility to spot Pink and Grey Dolphins.
- Afternoon: Navigate the Loretoyacu River and visit the Tarapoto Lakes to observe more pink dolphins. Try your hand at artisanal piranha fishing. On this route you have the possibility to spot Pink and Grey Dolphins.
- Nighttime: Embark on a nocturnal boat safari.
4th Day – Jungle Trekking
- Morning: After a fulfilling breakfast, get ready for an invigorating highland jungle trek. Regardless of the season, this activity offers you a chance to encounter the diverse fauna and wildlife of the Amazon rainforest.
- In the afternoon, visit the Puerto Nariño lookout point, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views.
- Departure: At 3 pm, the boat will depart for Leticia, arriving back at 5 pm.

- Departure: At 3 pm, the boat will depart for Leticia, arriving back at 3 pm.
- We will be waiting for you at the dock of Leticia to do all the transfers.

What to Bring to your Amazon Jungle Tour
A small day sack (25-30L) is sufficient for a 3 or 4-day tour. We can store your larger bag in the office. The following list is advisory only, wear whatever you think will make you feel comfortable! Bear in mind that black clothing can attract more mosquitoes so, if possible, bring lighter colored clothing.

- Walking boots/shoes. Yes, trainers are ok. Flip flops for relaxing.
