If you’re thinking about visiting the Colombian Amazon, there’s one key detail that can make the difference between a smooth trip and a trip full of complications: choosing your flights wisely.
At Amazonas Jungle Tours, we know that most travelers have limited time and want to make the most of it. That’s why we organize our itineraries with two starting times:
- Tour starting at 2:00 pm on the same day of arrival.
- Tour starting at 7:00 am on the following day.
👉 This means that if you book a flight arriving in the morning to Leticia, you can start the adventure right away at 2:00 pm.
👉 If your flight arrives in the afternoon, you’ll spend the night in Leticia and begin at sunrise.
👉 If your tour ends at 9:00 am, it’s highly recommended to book your return flight after 11:30 am. This ensures you have enough time for the boat transfer from Puerto Nariño to Leticia and the transfer to the airport without rushing.
If your tour ends at 5:00 pm, you have two options:
- Take the LATAM night flight at 8:00 pm, which allows you to return to Bogotá the same day.
- Or, if you prefer to rest, stay one more night in Leticia and take any flight the next morning.
👉 This way, you ensure that transfer times are comfortable and safe, avoiding the risk of missing your flight.
